GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE (GRC)

Introduction

The Grievance Redressal Committee of Lakhotia College of Design ensures a transparent and fair mechanism for addressing and resolving grievances from students, faculty, and staff. The committee operates in accordance with the UGC (Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2012 and promotes trust, fairness, and accountability in all institutional operations.

Objectives

  • 1. To provide a platform for expressing academic, administrative, or personal grievances.
  • 2. To ensure timely, fair, and unbiased resolution of issues.
  • 3. To maintain confidentiality and protect the dignity of all stakeholders.
  • 4. To promote a culture of open communication and mutual respect.

Functions

  • Receive complaints through physical forms or the official grievance email portal.
  • Conduct hearings, fact-finding, and mediation sessions.
  • Recommend corrective actions or policy improvements.
  • Submit quarterly reports of grievances and resolutions to the Principal and Chairman.
