INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE (ICC / POSH)
(For Gender Sensitization, Prevention & Prohibition of Sexual Harassment)
Introduction
The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) of Lakhotia College of Design functions in compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013. It is dedicated to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment free from discrimination and gender-based harassment.
Objectives
- 1. To prevent incidents of sexual harassment through awareness and sensitization programs.
- 2. To provide a confidential mechanism for lodging complaints.
- 3. To ensure fair, transparent, and time-bound investigation of cases.
- 4. To promote gender equality, dignity, and respect for all individuals.
Functions
- Conduct orientation and gender-sensitization sessions annually.
- Handle complaints confidentially and ensure due process is followed.
- Include one external member from a registered NGO or legal body.
- Submit annual compliance reports to the governing authority.
